    Hello, Orange Curtain Review:

My name is Soo Chyun. I am the writer and director of the one-act play, ‘Maron Doll’, which is planned to be performed as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

I write this as an invitation to our preview on June 2nd at 2 pm at Studio/Stage Theatre in hopes of receiving constructive criticism for our play. Attending during the weekend is understandably a big commitment, but we would greatly appreciate if you can find the time amongst many other shows to provide us a fair review that we can keep in mind for future works.

‘Maron Doll’ has been played a few times before receiving a good number of positive, heartfelt reviews so we are willing to say that it should be worth the time. You can find these reviews in the Fringe LemonMeter.

You’ll be given a comp ticket for the preview if you reply to this message by May 12th.

We hope you consider providing us some of your time.

    Kind regards,
    Soo Chyun

    Preview Date: Saturday, June 2nd
    Time: 2:00 PM
Theater: Studio/Stage (520 N Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90004)

Hope you folks review The Sunshine Boys at Camino Real Playhouse, opening September 14. With Neil Simon’s recent passing, his shows have a special poignancy at the moment. And this one, dealing as it does with mortality as well as show business, is particularly apt.

  5. Stephanie says:

September 28th The Attic Theater opens The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance! A classic tale of love, hope, and revenge based on the short story by Dorothy M. Johnson and the classic Hollywood film starring John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart! Hope you can come review us!
