The holidays are here and the Orange County Playwrights Alliance (OCPA) is ready with a new play event – the OCPA Studios staged reading of Beverly Arrowsmith’s Packages, occurring November 7 at Fullerton’s STAGEStheatre. The playwright directs a cast featuring Michele Arrowsmith-Rowe, Carol Felt, Freddie Harris, Austin Holden, Rina Holden, Arthur Kraft, Annie Newton, Andrew Pack, Bill Reed and Jeff Sinclair. The Play

Sometimes the best holiday gifts do not come in the form of packages. Instead they are delivered through kind words, gestures, and lessons. Come share the holidays with Crissy as she receives the best gift of all. This large-cast work is set at a Southland apartment building with
a diverse and eclectic group of residents. (The play has adult subject matter and language.)
The playwright:
Beverly Arrowsmith is is a working actor, director, playwright and screenwriter and a proud member of the Dramatists Guild, SAG-AFTRA and OCPA. As an actor, she has made numerous film and TV appearances. Her script Four Play won the LAPAC’s Best Play award. Her screenplay Protecting Amerika was a finalist in The Writer’s Network (Shane Black) Awards. She directed the world premiere of Miss Maryby Broadway playwright Muriel Resnick. Recent directing credits include her own Rock of Ages and The Uninvited Guest (Cabrillo Playhouse), Lynn Wells Nelson’s The Old Bird (Camino Real Playhouse) and Neil LaBute’s Autobahn (Saddleback College). Beverly has an M.A. in Theatre Arts from California State University, Fullerton. She is adjunct faculty at Saddleback College.  RESERVATIONS: 714-902-5716
