An original play entitled Slight Rebellion in Studio 8H by alumnus Nicolas Juarez and directed by Pauline Maranian. The play is loosely based on the creation of the well-known sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live” in 1975. This dramatic-comedy explores the show’s early years, an experiment from a young LorneMichaels and his cast of unknowns, and follows its evolution into a comedy institution. This unforgettable journey entails unspoken affection between coworkers, friendships, heartbreak, and new beginnings. Slight Rebellion in Studio 8H will be performed in the Estancia High School’s Barbara Van Holt Theatre, November 13-14 and 20-21 at 7:30pm. Taken Directly from the press release
