Bust out your leg warmers, dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to cut loose!

Directed and Choreographed by Broadway’s Nikki Snelson (Legally Blonde, Annie Get Your Gun, Sweet Charity),
this production is set to excite audiences from June 4 – July 12, 2026, at the historic GEM Theatre in Garden
Grove. The opening night for the media is Saturday,June 6, 2026. Pre-show Gala at 6:30PM, Performance at
8:00PM.

Footloose is bringing the electrifying energy of the 1980’s to The GEM stage!
This high-octane musical, based on the iconic film, tells the story of Ren McCormack, a big-city teen who shakes
up a small town where dancing is outlawed.

With explosive choreography, unforgettable 80s anthems like “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” “Holding Out for a
Hero,” and of course “Footloose,” this show is a celebration of youth, freedom, and standing up for what you
believe in.

The cast features Jackson De Lange as Ren, Leilani Munck and Mary Desmondas Ariel, Jason Guffy as Rev. Shaw.
In addition to Direction/Choreography by Nikki S Nelson, the creative team for OMP’s production of

FOOTLOOSE includes Musical Direction by Nick Bravo, Scenic and Prop Design by Victor Crisafulli, Sound
Design by Shannon Callahan, Lighting Design by Aria Roach, Costume Design by Alayna Riley. Musician credits
include Nick Bravo as Piano/Conductor with a 6-piece band.
