Thank you to the Orange Curtain Review for this honor – I am truly blown away! As someone who has spent more time in pit orchestras than on stage, performing in Avenue Q at the Wayward Artist was a very “Special” experience.
I feel so very supported and encouraged by the local theatre community right now!
I want to thank Wyn, Andrea, and Sarah for trusting me with this role and my talented fellow cast, Kelsey, Anyssa, Wyatt, Zach, Charis, and Gloria, whose collective expertise I often leaned on during the process. I also want to thank our wonderful crew, set designer, friends, and family, who encouraged me to follow through.
As the OBC of Avenue Q once said in their 2004 Tony acceptance speech: “It certainly doesn’t suck to be us tonight!”
