LAGUNA BEACH, CA – July 2026

No Square Theatre presents an OC community theatre first with Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Based on the smash-hit movie, it tells the heartwarming, uplifting adventures of three, glamorous Sydney-based performing drag artists, Tick, Bernadette and Adam, who agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. They hop aboard “Priscilla,” a battered old bus and search for love and friendship while battling homophobia and a break down from Priscilla. Ultimately, they discover the bonds of friendship and more than they ever imagined. With a dazzling array of outrageous costumes by Brigitte Harper and a hit parade of dance floor favorites including “It’s Raining Men,” “I Will Survive,” “Hot Stuff,” “Go West,” “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” and “I Love The Nightlife,” this wildly fresh and funny musical is a journey to the heart of FABULOUS!

The musical was conceived by the film’s writer and director Stephan Elliott, and premiered to rave reviews in 2006 in Sydney, Australia. The production premiered on London’s West End in 2009, running for over two years. Priscilla officially opened on Broadway in 2011 winning a Tony Award for Best Costume Design.

A sequel to the original film, featuring original stars, Hugo Weaving, Terrence Stamp, and Guy Pearce, is in the can, but does not yet have a release date.

The No Square cast features Christopher Vournas as Tick, Jason Pascual (Lagunatics) as Bernadette, and Sawyer Reece Maier (Dracula, I Love My Wife) as Adam. Additional roles are played by Mike Marmont, Cohen Moss, Martina Sanchez, Jordyn Brady, and Meg Rocha. The large Ensemble of actor/singers playing various roles include Katie Hamilton, Duke Newton, Fin Reid, Matt Mitchell, Michael Cervantes, Geo Herrera, Kenneth Phuong, Patrick Castillo, Allison Murillo, Michelle Eifert, Benna Spotts (Dance Captain) and Allyson Blackstone.
