Huntington Beach, CA – Baseball, friendship, secrets, and a clubhouse turned upside down take center stage when the Golden West College Theater Arts Department presents Richard Greenberg’s Tony award-winning play Take Me Out, directed by Martie Ramm, October 9–18. The GWC Theater Arts department is offering BOGO Fridays! for performances on Friday October 9 (Opening Night) and on Friday October 17 of this highly anticipated production.
“Buy One, Get One Free” BOGO Fridays! tickets are not available through the GWC online ticketing system but can be purchased at the GWC theater box office only.
The box office opens 1 hour before each performance.
The production features an 11-member cast, led by Samuel R. J. Hanke as Darren, Ian Pedersen as Kippy, and William Dawley as Mason,
with featured performances by Daniel Forrest, Maximus Dorsey, Robert White, and Syrhaan Albuquerque.
Set inside the high-stakes world of Major League Baseball, Take Me Out follows superstar center fielder Darren Lemming, whose decision to publicly come out as gay
sends shockwaves through his championship team. What follows is a funny, provocative, and deeply human story about friendship, prejudice, masculinity, loyalty,
